I can't say that this is undoubtedly the best class at MSU, however, I do think that it is a great class and one of the best classes I have taken as a Communication major. I say this because I feel that this class forces me to take advantage of the internet to make me a more influencial and standout person. Needless to say, this will definitely be beneficial in my search for a career as I approach the end of my days as a student and look to join the "real world". And, even though I said it "forces me", I have come to find that I really enjoy connecting with people through social networking sites and have not been able to go without checking my newly developed blog for more than 2 hours at a time. Plus I just think it sounds cool to be able to tell someone "hey, check out my blog." The obvious benefits and the enjoyment that I have had in completing assignments for this class, though they can seem like a lot of work at times, definitely makes this one of the best classes I have ever taken. I am excited to see how far the lessons I learn in the class can take me.

Although some may list the flexiblity as one of the top reasons why New Media Drivers License is the best class at MSU, I believe its use outside of the classroom is one of its biggest benefits. With only two weeks of the course I already feel like I have learned more practical skills than a whole semester of other courses. The textbooks are reading materials you can keep as reference guides, especially if you are in the communication field. This class has also pushed me to finally put into action the blog I always wanted to create. The benefits for this course are endless if you fully apply yourselves to the assignments. I honestly believe Michigan State should consider making the course mandatory, as it will truly put students ahead of the curve.

I do think the New Media Drivers License class is one of the best classes at Michigan State.  I think people agree with me because the class is online and only meets twice in Novi.  I think that is why many people enjoy the class.  It also is a class that you can take the information you learn and use in the future.  For instance, creating a LinkedIn, a blog, and a twitter will all be helpful when finding a job later in life.  The assignments are very interesting and allow you to learn as you are completing them.  I really enjoy this class.

I would say that, so far, New Media Drivers License class is looking like one of my favorite classes so far.  From just attending the first lecture out of two at Walsh College, the information about the course seems interesting.  I enjoy social media and networking all together, and putting it towards something that could benefit me in my future careers is just perfect.  The course is also taught by a well-known professional, which is very beneficial because with his knowledge and profesionalism, it can help lead myself and other students enrolled in this class on the path to success.  It's also very convienent that this class only meets in person twice within the semester.  All of the assignments online are well explained.  Integrating personal interest with school is the perfect combination in a class!
