Consider sharing it with your friends.

This week we focus on Inbound Marketing for your client brands. It's possible some companies may not spend much time, money or effort on Inbound.

At Ingenex Digital Marketing we feel companies need to spend around $10K per month in order to move the needle on organic lead generation.

And that's just for strategy, design, content marketin, writing, web CTAs and such. We also manage your paid media and paid social as part of that.

Then you need to include media costs and Inbound software such as HubSpot. That adds a few more thousand to the mix.

Is it worth it you ask? I think so. The number one way to increase traffic to your site is through increased content creatio in the form of blog posts. Inbound Marketing build long term value for your brand.  And has long term SEO value.

As a Hubspot marketing agency gold partner we fully endorse Hubspot software as the best way we've seen to automate your marketing for small to medium sized companies. Including those looking to do Franchise Development Marketing.

So im curious in your research what have you found to be the best examples of Inbound Marketing? Please share in the comments.

Inbound marketing is actually a new topic for me, I learned a lot through my research and found that inbound marketing is actually very important for businesses. Email and Content marketing were really interesting to read up and figure all these new ways that companies can improve their tactics for a even successful results. Blogging was a huge one even though I never thought it would be, but it plays a big role in inbound marketing and actually helps with new coming businesses.

For S'well water bottle, the best form of inbound marketing that I have found for their brand is their blog. Because S'well is a lifestyle blog, blogs concerning lifestyle topics is a great parallel to the brand and I think it really helps strengthen the relationship with their customers.

I think the best example of Inbound Marketing concerning the Detroit Lions is the fact they're such a prominent source for information in an information heavy world. The fact that I can log on to the Lions website and get the latest and most accurate information on personnel and games makes the Lions website a true assest to me. It's for this reason that I consider the Lions overall approach to building their website, as a pool of information that fans like myself consider valuable, to be their best piece of Inbound Marketing.

Blogging seems to be one of the most cost-effective ways to draw consumers to your website. In my research, an interesting approach I could find in LinkedIn's case is their ability to provide tools for the users to create content that helps them brand themselves and the company simultaneously. LinkedIn does only release online content; it also lets its users publish. Do you think that providing tools that let the users generate content is the next step towards Inbound marketing?

The best Inbound Marketing for my brand- Wilton, is to share the viedo of baking process. I think it was great way to show their products and give some baker ideas about it.

The best example for Inbound Marketing through my own research would be blog posts. People become interested in a topic and read these posts that relate to them and it grabs their attention. Then they may see something on that blog post that really entices them and they start to look into a brand more and then become a loyal customer down the road.

From my research, I found that the best example of Inbound Marketing is social media. My brand is Urban Outfitters, it targets at young adults such as college students. Meanwhile, students are obsessed about social media. Therefore, propaganda the brand through social media is the best way to reach to audience. Furthermore, the brand should have its own social media account. The more fans there are, the more potential customer there can be. Thus, it is important to manage well on social media.

What I found to be highly effective for my brand Michigan State Athletics when dealing with inbound Marketing is Social Media. Social media is the driving force for my brand to be connected to all of the MSU fans, current student body, as well as alumni. As Social media you can see how many people you currently have following your brand, and for my brand there most exposure comes through their FaceBook page. Luckily for my brand, people just naturally are brought to the website if theyre interested in tickets or other information like that but through their Social Media accounts they can get live up to date news that may take a little longer to be up and running on the website.

What I found to be highly effective inbound marketing for PepsiCo was their use of social media. Facebook and Twitter being their most effective sites, they do their best to create valuable and sharable content to spread awareness of products, events and news. They also value email memberships to receive exclusive offers, coupons and promotions from their favorite bands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Gatorade. In addition, buyers can also sign up for a similar subscription service for the snacks they love. They'll receive updates on new tastes, tips and great deals.

I agree that social media is really effective for inbound marketing because social media is where people believe that content is not generated from companies or have just straight ads. It appears more authentic through social media, especially when people share it. It is also extremely easy to spread content this way through people sharing it and passing it along to their friends.

Through my research, I have found that the best examples of Inbound Marketing are social media, blogging, and email marketing. My brand, TOMS, uses Inbound Marketing and this has been a successful strategy for them. Inbound Marketing is the best way to reach consumers and more comapnies should be spending their time and money on it.

In my research, the best examples I have found of Inbound Marketing include blogging, social media, and email marketing. Content marketing via a blog allows for companies to express their creativity through posting and sharing original content to provide value to their customers and generate more effective sales leads for themselves. Social media allows for a more effective/streamlined way for companies to push leads back to their website to increase sales. It also serves as a great way to engage with your customers through coupon codes/deals, exclusive pages, product photos, and comments/conversations between customers and brands. Email marketing has the greatest growth potential as it allows for you to engage with potential customers and motivate/entice them to become paying customers. Email marketing also serves as a helpful guide to purchase because it allows a brand to educate these potential customers on their line of products and services and, if purchase occurs, drastically increases the chances of them becoming a brand advocate.

Through my research, I think the best examples of inbound marketing are blogs and social media. The blogs is the basic tool to optimize the website and social media. Blogging provides the brand a platform to post news and share messages with target audience. My brand is Victoria’s Secret. It coverages newest messages with attractive images in blogging. Social media is a good form of inbound marketing to share useful relevant content with the world and to empower potential customers.

In topshop, the best inbound marketing I found is the event #TopshopStyle. The event is to encourage customers to share their real look with Topshop clothing. When customers post their looks on social media platforms, it is  kind of promotion on clothing. Topshop can easily reach customers friends to reach more potentials.

From my research, I have found a few different emaples of inbound marketing that I like the best.  One eample of inbound marketing that I liked was blogging because it keeps people frequently coming back to your website.  I feel as though this works on me because I am a big barstool sports follower and they constanly post blogs everyday which ends up bringing me back to their website.  I also think that social media is a good a pproach to take with inbound marketing just because i think it is the way of future advertising.

Inbound Marketing is absolutley the future in advertising, especially in my field where ad campaigns really haven't changed much since the introduction of search engine sites like AutoTrader and Cars.com.  Having the brand engage potential customers with great content, potential customers are driven to the brand and are therefore more serious potential buyers.  Selling by not selling, is the pressure free way to drive in potential customers and drive up profits.  A couple great examples that I use often are RepairClinic and DealerSpecialties.

Inbound marketing is definitely worth it if you want your brand to succeed. Blogging is a great way for your audience to stay connected with you and feel like they are getting more from your brand then only products. A great blog that I subscribe to is the goop by Gwyneth Paltrow. It features beauty, lifestyle, wellness, fashion, home, and others. It is new every day and is relatable, interesting, and the style I am interested in.

Inbound marketing can be extremely helpful because the content that is used to market tends to be more relevant to customers. Although I think that blogs are the best forms of inbound marketing, I also think that email marketing can be effective. I think that sending personalized emails of what types of promotions and events a customer may want to see will make them more likely to buy your products.

By learning and researching inbound marketing this week, I learn that markting is changing from outbound to inbound currently. Inbound marketing is sending useful information to possible consumer, attracting them to buy your products. I found a interesting example a Chinese nut brand did. This brand called Three squirrel. They ask bloggers and youtubers to advertise products for them. Of course they are smart and get success due to they did inbound marketing.

Through research completed for this class, I have been surprised to learn about the success of email marketing as a form of Inbound Marketing. After learning more about how and why it is used, I understand the benefits of directly sending a customer information about your company/products. They don't have to seek out the information on their own because it comes right to them.

By far the best inbound marketing approach is by using blogs and social media. As long as you manage it well and keep up with it then that should be your first choice, and its free!

I think blogging is a solid approach to inbound marketing. My goal for a consumer is for them to keep coming back to my site and often. A blog seems the best way to do that, especially if content is created daily. They also can connect products and services in ways consumers may not have thought of.

Student

I have found that blogging is the best form of inbound marketing. Blogging creates the most organic attention to your brand as well as engages readers and potential customers. Blogging is easily shared, and it helps create connections to users you might not have reached on a typical social media site. Users can interact with blog posts through comments and shares, and blogs are a good way to get people talking about the content, and inevitably your brand. By creating blogs, it also gives your brand a personality and a sense of interaction on a more personal level. Social media advertisements are great, but I feel that blogs resonate and connect more with users, who could eventually convert to being customers.

Student

I believe that social media is the best example because often times you can be viewing something totally unrelated and it will then take you to a different website in result. Another effective inbound marketing method is email which can directly offer communication with customers and provide insight into the company.

Student

I think the most effective forms of inbound marketing are email marketing and search engine optimization. Both of these forms of inbound marketing really promote engagement. Search engine optimization allows the company to be more prevalant to consumers. Email marketing gives them the illusion that they are a part of something.

After researching my company, Little Caesars I have found that inbound marketing can be difficult for certain companies that do not specifically sell their product online. However, I have discovered that social media, interactive contests, and email marketing can be effective. Getting people to get involved with something to win a reward such as a coupon or gift card is a good incentive to get people to click on your ads. Also, relative blog posts with current news and creative titles are successful for getting viewers to want to learn about your products rather than them being forced to see something as a pop-up ad.

From my research is look like some of the best examples of inbound marketing are blogs and social media. With an effective blog and social media you can have successful inbound marketing. I don’t know if it is worth it or not I think it depends more on the product, company, or industry.

I recently took a vacation to West Carrbbean using Royal Carribean. I wanted to find more information about the trip and the ship and discovered there is a Royal Caribbean blog which has plenty of good information. But guess what? It is not an official one but a fan-created blog. It is quite amazing how fans create such a nice blog with abundant information. People don't even care whether it is official or not. I cannot find how it started and who is managing the site. However, what I learn is that an industry like this can definitely take advantage of inbound marketing even without doing anything. Fans are crazy! They devote their time and effort to share their information and experience. I think the point here is that it is important to create royal fan base. Certainly I am now addicted to cruise.

Throughout my research, I found that the best examples of Inbound Marketing include company blog posts, use of social media to engage in leads, email marketing to generate sales, and providing valuable free resources.  Blogging has been proven to be three times as successful as traditional marketing.  Blogging is especially valuable when the company gives the potential customer helpful information that will allow them to gain trust in the company and see them as more than a company that is trying to sell them something.  Social media is also a great way to give out incentives to people in order to obtain leads towards the business.  Advertising on social media will give the consumer a direct reason to shop online once they see coupon codes or limited time offers.  Email marketing is very important since the messages are being sent to people who are already interested in the company, since they have already given out their email address.  Often times, these people have been customers in the past, so updating them with the latest products or sales will most likely peak their interest.  Lastly, providing valuable free resources is a great way to build customer relationships and brand trust.  These resources should be more in depth than the blog posts, such as an ebook of a helpful pdf.

I've been researching Ricks American Cafe and they do very minimal if you could consider any inbound marketing. I'm not sure if this is because they want to be mysterious or they don't have the funds but they could use a whole new marketing approach to their audience.

In my past experience, Hubspot has been an extremely valuable inbound marketing tool. My favorite part about Hubspot is how easy it is to organize and build blog posts and then how simple it is to optimize them. For my internship last summer, I was paid to be Inbound Certified! I worked with smaller manufacturing companies and helped them create and collect content that was interesting to their target personas. It doesn't seem like something incredibly captivating or awesome but it was rewarding to see smaller companies grow their customer basis with organic content. One specific example that we earned a lot of positive feedback on was our blogging. By providing helpful information to people who are specifically looking for it makes you look like an expert. If a reader becomes familiar with your company though your blog posts, they will build loyalty before even making a purchase.

The Detroit Pistons could definitely use some work with inbound marketing as I talked about in the past homework assignment. However, they do a nice job of connecting with fans through social media and providing their followers with coupons and discount codes for a variety of things like tickets and team gear.

For my company, Gatorade, I found that the best form of inbound marketing would be to use a blog or facebook page more effectively. They currently have a facebook and Tumblr page, however it is not frequently updated or used. If they had a blog page that promoted their company, health and even gave fitness challenges it would keep the viewers engaged and frequently keeping up with the company. Having links on their social media sites that redirects people to the blog would be a great start at getting it more known.

In my research with my company, LiveNation, the best inbound marketing was their email strategy/communication. This let them get some information about their consumer and tailor emails to their area. There are things that they can improve, like tailoring it their shows and they could also promote other inbound marketing techniques such as blogging, or even vlogging concerts. As it stands though, their email is their best inbound marketing technique.

I have found for my brand a good example of Inbound marketing would be to get a company facebook or blog for you to be able to receive feedback and keep your target audience updated and informed on your business.

For my brand I founded that it's a great Idean to have this because it create a bigger traffic for your brand. I believe they should focus on the design for the website and what kind of rousted they plan on going. It's also very important to do these differnt kind of research projects to be able to make sure this actually a great idea to have in the up coming future of your website. It's also to make sure your brand is well represented in this also

For my brand I found that a good example of Inbound Marketing was to invest in Facebook and other places like blogs, or social medias to interact with your target market.  It is also a good to update your clientel on a regular basis.

Student

In my research, I have found blogs to be a great example of Inbound Marketing.  With a blog, one can get their voice into their interests and feelings on the product.  With my brand, blogging is so important to show and teach people the use(s) of the product.  It allows many people to connect, and brings a detailed "report" on the product or thing being advertised/talked about.

Based on my research, i think the best examples of Inbound Marketing would be coca cola company since they are interacting with audiences and customers oftenly and they have catagorized their products in multipe ways that woukd fulfill the needs for their customers while the coke company make it so simple for the customers to find the right products.

I think it is worth for company invest in inbound marketing. nowadays, people who are using social media is a big part of Customer base. So the way advertise your brand by social media is useful. The social media advertisement can attract more customers’ attention. For example, if you are company selling clothes, your production photo post on Instagram, you receive 500 hundred “likes”, more “likes” you get, more unknown people will see your product photos. Those people who didn’t know your brand before is potential customer. The shopping website “Zappos” is a good example. Which already got Four hundred thousand “likes” in Facebook. Their performance prove that it is necessary ads.

From this article, I knew basic information of Inbound marketing. Firstly, I need to find a primary topic to promote the brand, then offer the content idea. Analysis brand channels.

While researching inbound marketing strategies for my brand, Starbucks, I found a few interesting techniques that I would definitely reccommend. One of them being "build your personal brand". This seems very simple but is very effective. Starbucks does an excellent job branding itself. It is a household name and their products do really well simply because of the name attached to them. Another is, of course, social media. As cliche as it may sound at this point, it is so crucial to keep up with social media, especially if your target audience is young adults. Monitor your followers, interact with them on various platforms. These things can only help your business. Lastly, one I think is still very important but maybe overlooked is really good email marketing. I feel like maybe people think social media is the new email but it's not one or the other, it's got to be both. Email is still extrememly popular and, with the right techniques, email marketing can be very successful in my opinion.

Some great examples I've seen for Inbound Marketing for EXPRESS is their Instagram and how it features style inspiration as well as inspirational ideas and quotes. Also on their website they have a cool feature that incorporates music playlist, their clothes and other things which is cool too! If someone from their target audience went to express.com they would "come across" alot of cool interstig things to draw them in and to their website.

Taco Bell has a great element to their website called The Feed.  In this area, they post relevant articles and stories about many Taco Bell patrons and employees.  This gives the consumer an insight into their business practices while making the love for Taco Bell a more communal thing.  The information they have on their page is updated frequently too, so you can read about all the Taco Bell weddings and costume contests as up-to-date as possible!

While researching my brand LUSH, I found three great examples of inbound marketing, which include:

1) Social Media to Engage Leads: Social media is a great way to push these leads back to your website so users can make a purchase. Offers like, coupon codes, links to exclusive offer pages, and limited-time deals are great ways to engage leads on social media and improve customer conversion.
2) Providing Value with Free Resources: Inbound marketing through free resources is different from maintaining a blog. Free resources should be more in-depth, with each resource focusing on a specific aspect of your product and/or business. They can be downloadable or printed; it's a great way to engage customers who aren't heavy computer users..
3) Email Marketing: Allows businesses to engage with subscribers and/or customers to motivate them to become paying customers. It's a great way to learn about a companies mission and their products in an exclusive environment; allowing for more intimiate information to be revealed, such as customer testimonials and reviews.

One of the best examples I found of inbound marketing was Oreo's stand on pride month. Oreo posted a picture with stacked fillings in the color of the rainbow to celebrate their 100th anniversary as well as, as I said, their support of pride month. I thought this example was so great because it seemed so easy and was so effective. Oreo just got the attention of anyone who supports pride month and drew all of those people to Oreo's page. The fact that all the traffic started over a Facebook post is why I thought this example was so great.

Student

In my opinion, I think the best inbound marketing is to attract customers but not wanting for the customers came by themselves. For example, a blogger write a blog about how she change her bad skin to very good with 2 months, and her never mentioned any product she used in the middle of the blog, or a fat person record the process of how she/him lose  20 pounds in 2 months, but never mentioned any diet pills she/he eats. People with skin concerns or fat issues definitely would ask the blogger some other questions, because they don’t think the blogger is trying to sell anything or advertising anything. So when they ask the blogger other questions, like the products she/ he ever used? They would more easily to trust them when they get the answers from the bloggers.

Student

I think the best inbound marketing case is including knowing where to find the audience, and addressing a concern, recruiting brand ambassadors and taking a stand. So the best example of inbound marketing in my research is Apple. Apple has perfect inbound makerting strategies. It makes people think of it when they have needs to shop. The iPhone is not only a phone or an electronic product. It becomes the representative of the combination of the fashion and technology.

Student

I think the best examples of inbound marketing are ones when companies use each social media platform differently. Some people might believe it's tedious having to switch from app to app just to stay updated but I think it's a way that companies can hone in on their target customer. For example, Vogue tries to mix up the kinds of content they share on their platforms. This way, it keeps the content fresh and exciting as opposed to it being redundant.
