Hello class,

We're reaching the end of the course and we've discussed a wide range of topics. I suspect you natively understand some of the topics based on everyday use.

I'm curious however, what's the most interesting thing you've learned thus far? Can you see yourself using this knowledge in your career? If so, how?

The most interesting thing I have used thus far is how efficient digital media can be, I love seeing how all of the analytics can prove to businesses exactly how much they are getting out of their marketing investments. I will use this in my career because I have a small media business, and we use Facebook analytics and other mediums for our clients so I have been directly applying all that we have learned to my business.

Overall, the more research done on social media especially as an inbound marketing technique, has helped me understand the value of being able to navigate as well as conduct and create social media material. As a professional writing major I am continuously challenged with looking at all varying demensions of rhetoric and social media is a continuously growing platform in which the largest range of audiences connect and communicate.

From my perspective, over the whole semester. I like the socail media startegy part, firstly I feel familiar about the social media part. I learned inbound marketing from this course. I think it's so interetsting for me becasue beofore this class I don't know what does this mean.

I think the most interesting thing I have learned thus far is the use of google analytics, and overall just asssesing a company's websites abilitity to real in clicks, and traffic. The ability to track the amount of people that access a website, and seeing the effectiveness of the company's advertising is knowledge that I will use in my career. I know in my future job, I will have to see if the company I am working for has a successful internet marketing strategy.

The most interesting thing that I've learned thus far is about how social media plays apart in the branding of a company. I think that I can definitely see myself using this knowledge in my career because as an aspiring entertainment publicist, it's so important to be able to keep up with growing trends in social media etc.

I think that leanring how effective and cheap social media marketing is in comparison to traditional media has been the most interesting thing that i've learned. I think that this is useful to know when developing ad campaings because it is possible to do more with social media while spending less than on traditional media. Thus, it helps to give the most effective use for the ammount of money spent.

I think learning about social media and marketing in general is a very interesting subject but before this class I had never heard of inbound marketing so I am very glad i got the chance to learn about it.

Over the semester, we have learned a lot of information that we can take into the real world and apply in future jobs. For me, the most interesting thing I learned about was inbound marketing. It is a new way to approach todays generation and I think it is very useful.

The thing I liked most about this class is that we were able to pick a real organization and create ideas for them. I like how I was able to learn more about digital marketing and was able to put it to use while creating ideas for the organization. I can honestly see myself using the information ive learned in the class in the future.

In this class, I learned many things about social media and inbound marketing. The company will find out if the online campaign is successful. The metrics used to determine the success include the traffic to the enterprise’s website, the rating done on different online platforms such as Facebook and website, the number of engagements through the social media and the goals achieved.

I was most interested in learning about InBound Marketing. I am not sure why I have not learned about this in my other advertising classes because I will be using this in the future. I find it interesting how effective this marketing method is, and I wonder why more companies have not adapted to this yet. I enjoyed learning about audience persona, and I enjoyed being able to create one. It is so important to know who your brand is targeting. Since this method is so effective, I will be using InBound Marketing in the furture. I will create an audience persona, so I will be able to fully know who I am marketing too.

While dissecting the Ducks' marketing and advertising strategy throughout the course of the semester, I've learn so much about content advertising. This course allowed work hands on with a real company, which has given me so much more experience about the importance of targeting specific markets and advertising to them naturally. Paid advertising is becoming the underdog and digital is taking over the marketing world by storm.

I have learn a lot from this class. The most interested thing is inbound marketing. inbound marketing is  a technique for drawing customers to products and services via content marketing, social media marketing and search engine optimization.

This semester I have learned a lot of valuable and interesting information to use in my future. The most interesting topic to me was inbound marketing and SEO. I definitely see myself using a lot of this knowledge in my career in advertising, especially inbound because of it being the new, effective way of marketing to consumers.

There have been various topics that I have found interesting and I definitely enjoyed taking this class. However, I am going to look into becoming inbound certfied off of one of the links that was in a previous lesson because I feel like that will really come in handy throughout my career. Inbound marketing was really interesting to me and I'd like to continue to learn more about it after this course is over.

This semester, we have learned a lot of great tools and gained a ton of resources but the most interesting thing i've learned this far is the impact of inbound marketing via content marketing, social media, and SEO. I can definitely see myself using this knowledge in my future career with marketing campaigns.

The most interesting thing I have learned in this course so far is inbound marketing. I can see myself using this knowledge in my career by publishing the right content in the right place at the right time to get found by potential customers. I am pursuing a career in sports marketing so this can be applied to marketing athletes and teams.

The most interesting thing I have learned thus far is from the second lesson about social media marketing. Not only was I unaware that Facebook is the largest and most widely used social network in existence (largely in part because I use it the least out of the social media I use), but I also did not know many of the bullet points that were listed under "best practices." There were four: add value for your audience (don't just post promotional content), keep in mind the restrictions of each platform, don't shout at your audience (think about two-way communication) and be professional. I think these practices are incredibly useful as today social media marketing isn't optional--it is essentially required. So, brands and businesses should know how to SUCCESSFULLY utilize the platforms. By going into advertising/PR, I will constantly have these practices in mind when giving brands and businesses advice on what to and not to post.

I have learned a handful of things throughout this course that I am certain will benefit me in future careers. An example is a thorough understanding of content marketing and the importance it holds for companies.Another example is how important social media is to a brand when it is used effectively. If a company takes advantage of the rise of social media and learns how to properly apply it, the outcome can show a great increase in sales/views.

The most interesting things that I learned is inbounding marketing. Inbounding marketing brings perfect target audience to brand really easilly. This marketing will use for my career later.

Before this class I did not fully grasp how important SEO is for digital strategy. I will definitely be using everything that I learned in this class in my career even in my every day life.

The biggest takeaway for me was inbound marketing. I knew many of the tactics used to inbound market, such as a good social media presence, blogging and customer service chatlines, but it was helpful to associate it all to one broad concept. Inbound marketing might be the most important way to retain customers, as it is tailored to their needed. These extra steps that a company can take to appeal to their audiences goes a long way in gaining loyal customers. As a social media manager myself, it is important to remember the audience comes first. Getting the necessary information you need to get out is important, but I will now focus on getting it out in a way that audiences will want to engage in, because it applies personally to them.

The most interesting thing I have learned this far is the importance of content marketing for a brand. Instead of pushy advertising that just annoys the customer, it's important for a company to produce interesting and helpful content. This customer-oriented strategy increases brand loyalty, increases traffic to a website, and is a successful marketing techique to gain customers. I can definitely see myseld using this knowledge in my career. I would love to work for a communications department or a PR firm. It is very important to know how best to reach or influence your target audiences. The information I have learned throughout this class would help me out greatly in the professional world.

The most interesting thing I have learned so far has been the importance of using the appropriate social media platforms for your brand. So many companies think they need to use every form to keep the millennials engaged, however that is not true. You need to use the correct form of social media. I can see myself using this in my career. I decided to study General Mills which is the actual employer I will be working for starting this summer. I feel as if I have learned the foundation of their media strategy and hope to offer some of my insight in the future.

The most interesting thing I've learned throughout the course would have to be the Social Media Marketing portion that had us audit and make recommendations on platforms our company should look into. I also enjoyed the web analysis section that challenged us to come up with better SEO keywords and how important it is to improve these optimizations to showcase a company's content over others.

Throughout the class I feel I've learned a lot of relevant information that I could definitely apply to my career. I would say the most useful thing I've learned so far is a more in depth look at Inbounding Marketing. Using social media, SEO, and digital marketing to draw in consumers has really shown me how effectvie inbound marketing is as well as how it relates to content marketing. I was very interested in the Google Analytics aspect of this class and I feel like it would be useful to learn more about it.

One thing that continues to surprise me is the use of social media marketing, specifically using such SMS like YouTube. Researching my brand has proven to be tough in the advertising department ; LUSH doesn't spend a lot of additional money in advertising and relies on social media (Instagram and YouTube) for product reach. It still baffles me how one bad YouTube review can change the minds of millions of people! This class has given me other tactics and/or ideas on how to approach a customer in a unique and comfortable way that's tailored to their needs.

Over the course of this semester we've learned a lot of great tools for online marketing. I think the most interesting and in depth topic I will take away would have to be Inbound Marketing. It is just different enough that it will work.

This semester has been highly productive and is moving along quickly! I can certainly see myself applying these concepts to my first summer internship while working for a Canadian NPO. My NPO will be working towards bringing in investors and kickstart campaigns to work together to build opportunities. Using social media platforms such as LinkedIn would be one area of opportunity.

I found it interesting that online marketing as whole is shifiting so rapidly. However, it makes sense that the shift is gearing online marketing toward a consumer-first approach. Hearing that marketing used to be more about the marketers themselves was also somewhat shocking and although it means more work for future digital marketers, I think it's great that the industry is changing the way it si.

The most interesting thing I've learned was inbound marketing. It was the most intersting to me because I feel like I fully understood what it is and how to utilize it. I have analyzed brands in previous Advertising classes, but this topic seems to be more relevant than what I have learned. I know I will carry this information I have learned on inbound marketing to my future careers. I think that it is a topic that will always be used no matter what field of Advertising or PR I end up in.

So far during this course I would say the most interesting and useful tactic I've learned about is Inbound Marketing. We live in a world where everything is becomming digital and more and more users aare using the interenet and more digital contents every day. Before, I never really knew how Inbound Marketing worked I just assumed different strategies the advertising agencies use to be effective. But learning about Inbound Marketing and how it ties with content marketing, really narrows down your targeted audience for your speficic demegoraphic, who you're trying to target and get their attention. Whether that is through Social Media or Search Engine optimization.

I think the most interesting thing I've learned in this class so far was about Inbound Marketing. As we are in a digital age, in most classes we have had some opportunity to cover social media and other digital practices. But I have never learned about the practices of Inbound Marketing and how effective it truly is. The idea of connecting people to your brand through content they want to see is pretty remarkable. I want to definitely learn more about this in the future and I start my professional career soon.

I believe the most interesting thing i've learned this far is what all goes into a digital marketing strategy. I knew a lot of the things we've talked about and learned in this class, but there were things you would not think went into this strategy. I've enjoyed the content we've learned and think it can help me in my career. It gives you a platform to promote your company or brand in a very easily and in a cost effective way.

This class has been extremely helpful and I know I will use the information I have learned in this class and apply it to other classes as well as my jobs and internships in the future. I think the most useful thing I have learned in this class has been about Inbound Marketing or SEO. Before this class, I barely understood what Google Analytics is and now I feel like I have a basic understanding of what it is and how to use it. I would love if this class had an upper level to take to learn even more about digital marketing.

The most interesting topic we've learned thus far for me has been about inbound marketing. Learning how to draw in customers through digitial marketing, social media, and SEO tequnices I feel is a tool I will be able to utilize throughout my career. I have learned the Inbound Methodology to attract, convert, close, and delight; transforming strangers into promoters.

The great thing about this course is, I've taken everything that I have learned and used it in other courses. There has been so much relevant information and I hope that I can apply it in the future. 

The most interesting subject so far has been learning about SEO. When doing the homework I learned that when a person is doing a search on Google, no one goes to the second page. Not only was that funny to me but it is absolutely true, at least for me. Way before I even learned that the most relevant and also most paid for information is on the first page, I never thought to look on the other pages.

I hope to work for Chanel one day and I can't express my love for this brand enough but, working on it during this semester has given me the opportunity to actually learn about the story behind the creator and the brand itself

The class introduces me the improtance of digital marketing. Digital marketing is really cost-effective. Companies can be the winner if applying the best digital marketing strategy.

This class taught me how to think as the company's view. Before I took this class, I did not have chance to thinking as a company and how to deal with customers. However, this class assignment made me different. Because of this class, now I have various views and how companies should deal with customers and how I should handle this as a customer.

The most interesting thing that I have learned thus far is all of the tools that are out there to boost a brand/business and their advertising.  I have learned more about ways to optimize search engines, social media platforms, blogs, etc. than I've ever known!  The tools and the research are out there; it's just a matter of finding it and how you use it.

I could definitely see myself using this in my career.  Not only have I found better ways to connect with the people that I will be woking with, but I have found out many ways to further my research and provide tools for my career.  I will be able to expand in what I do and reach more people this way.  I will also be able to reach out to more of those within my profession to learn "tricks of the trade".  I see this class greatly beneficial for anyone of any major!

During this semester, this class taught me how to deeply doing research about a brand. There are many new terms that I learn, and it taught me the brand new meaning of those terms. The most interesting thing I have learned is the website research. I can see how important a website means to a brand.

I think that the most interesting thing we covered this semester was the importance of blogs and other types of inbound marketing for a brand. I never actually took the time to think about why a brand would care to share any information that doesn't have any type of impact on their sales with their audiences, but I thought that it was very interesting to learn how connecting with your audience on a level that has nothing to do with your profits can actually increase your profits. The most important thing is not always how you advertise to your customers, but how you connect with them.

I think the most interesting thing I have learned from this class is the importance of blogs for social media interaction. Before this class, I thought of blogs as an outdated and almost pointless use of resources, because I did not realize the effect and versatility they have. In my current job, one of my responsibilities is to contribute content to our website in the form of a blog. Because of this class, I have found a new appreciation for the blogs I have to write, and I have been able to think about more ways to better utilize the blog. For my job over the summer I will be working for a small real estate company based in Sheboygan, WI. I have already suggested to the company that they think about starting a blog because of its many benefits, and I have brainstormed potential topics to write about for them.

This course has taught me a variety of new skills and given me deeper insight into differet aspects of advertising. The most interesting part of this course was learing about KPI's and all of the different metrics used by advertisers to determine the level of success that their online media strategy has. I can see myself using this information in the future to help understand online advertising strategies and learn what works best.

I have learned a lot from this class.  Almost everything taught throughout this course was brand new information to me and hope to take all the information learned with me in the future.  The most interesting thing I learned in this course was how meaningful social media accounts are to a brand.  I never thought a company’s social media account would have such an impact on sales of their products.  I can see myself using this information in the future if I am ever working in the advertising department of a company and am looking for improvements they can make to help sell their products.

I have really enjoyed all of the information that this class has introduced to me. Everything we have learned will help me to better develop advertising campaigns while also paying close attention to what goes into making a good online campaign. I definately enjoyed learning a lot about online marketing, and how to successfully run an interactive website/social media site. I also utilized the Hubspot certification courses, which I would not have found out about if it were not for this class.

I have really enjoyed developing the analytical side of planning a digital campaign, and learning about all of the external factors that effect the strategy of a campaign. I will definitely take these experiences into the future, and it will be great to have this background knowledge to inform the creative side of advertising that I work within. Great creative will always drive the industry, but effective work and justifications of its effectiveness are almost now just as important.

I really enjoy learning this class. We have learned a lot of knowledge of media that would help us in the future. The most interesting thing I have learned so far is the web section so far. I have taken the class ADV 354, a digital design class in last semester. Therefore I am familiar with how to design a website and how to write the code. But I don't know what elements I need to pay attention in web design. The web lecture I learned in ADV 420 teaches me some criticle elements I would used in desining website. By combining the material I've learned in ADV 420 and ADV 354, I believed I got a progress in web design.

I truly enjoyed learning the depths of online advertising and how it can be successfully utilized for your business. While I'll be going into sales, I will use the online tactics learned through this course to help prospect for potential leads in the future!

This class was very interesting for me because it was a class that taught me skills I can actually use in my future. I thoroughly enjoyed diving into topics like inbound marketing, SEO and email marketing. However, the topic I felt I learned most about was social media. When thinking about social media marketing before this class, I thought of going viral, getting followers and hitting your standard KPI’s: likes, shares, comments, retweets etc. This class taught me how vital it is in social media marketing to have a message that is relevant, concise and targeted to your specific audience. Targeting an audience in advertising is tricky enough, but on a platform like social media that is so large -and rapidly growing- is even more difficult. I think overall this class taught me to be a better campaign manager, by taking a single company and showing me the various ways that company’s message can or cannot be portrayed. I had a lot of fun during this class and I would recommend it to others in the future.
