I'll admit I often consider those who worry about online privacy a little paranoid. My thought? If you're ashamed of what you're doing... maybe you should be do it. Regardless of my personal opinion, I do acknowledge there should be a reasonable expectation of privacy for online activities. There is a line, and it's somewhere well before cops showing up at your door because of something you Googled.
You might have even made your own online videos. Most computers today come with some sort of video editing software (iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, etc), and it's even possible to edit videos on cell phones (which shoot pretty good video - HD quality, in some cases).
Throughout my career I have collected a fair amount of friends who share simmilar, but different occupations. Meaning they work on or with websites but don't design them. The most valuable aspect of these friendships is the broad range of industries thet work in. From automotive to news, a quick conversation always gives me perspective on the next online growth area.
