So here you are with the task of building your social presence. Many of you have a social presence, or you have accounts on social sites with the goal of connecting with your friends and communicating. Some of you may share photos on Instagram, chat with your buddies on Kik or Snapchat. And Tweet away to stay in touch and banter on topics with people around the world.

Last week, I had the opportunity to try Google Glass for the first time at the #DetroitThroughGlass event at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. I have to admit: I was blown away. They're much lighter than I expected and I could see them becoming second-nature. So much better than constantly looking at your phone or computer.

The 5K, 10K, and Marathon of Blogging

So you've all had a few months to start your blog, write some posts and identify your goals for blogging. Hopefully, you've seen some results already. If not, hang in there. I've been blogging since 1996 (with large gaps in-between.) Now that I'm approaching twenty years of blogging (yikes) the biggest lesson I can pass on is related to pace and motivation.
