I thought these were very interesting presentions as well. I like that we are learning about the online industry from professors who use this stuff everyday and know first hand how important they are and how to use them. I thought the part about Youtube was so interesting about all the information and video being uploaded every minute and I share that stat with all my friends! I gained a lot of valuable information from this lesson and can't wait to put it to good use! Thank you.
I think the presentation given was great. The way you understood Google showed that you are definitely an employee. Getting a glimpse to what Google does and the way they sell AdWords is creative and brilliant. Hopefully everyone understood what you were writing on the board, I know most of us haven't done math in a fairly long time. Google is really transforming the business and will remain on top for years to come. Good work with the first day of class.
Thank you for the education on internet search, and especially the deeper look at AdWords. I hope that I can utilize parts of the presentations to educate some of my colleagues. I previously created a presentation on SEO and SEM, but your information is much better suited to teaching them beyond the basics.
We have been utilizing AdWords for many years now. Last year we started to utilize AdWords in foreign languages targeted at specific countries to help support our international units. I found one thing very surprising in that experience which I would like to share. Prior to doing the foreign AdWords program, Spanish was the 5th most visited language section of our website. Within 6 months of starting the foreign words project Spanish became the most popular language section of our website. We were able to make a significant shift in the awareness of our company in Central and South America, in our very niche business, by spending only $ 500 per month on an AdWords campaign!
