I just accepted a job in the digital marketing realm, and I feel that this class along with my internship have prepared me to be search campaign analyst. I will mostly be working in AdWords on pretty big client accounts. However, I know this is not what I want to do FOREVER or for my entire career. Is there something you could suggest about how to get more involved in content marketing/ become a content strategist? I want to do more creative work opposed to technical, although I know it will be beneficial to have the technical experience.

I am a Communications major but looking at potential positions in advertising. Does only having a degree in COM mean I'm low man on the totem pole when companies begin to hire?

Also, if graduating in spring 2016 is it too soon to extensively begin my job search? I've had a couple interviews already but have been turned down twice because companies were looking to hire before I graduate.

As far as internships go, what do you think is more valuable: spending your summer away from home (working in NYC for example) gaining "life experience" or living at home while you work at a summer internship, saving on living expenses?

i am not a native speaker, i understand that advertising is an indusotry that require very high level of language skill. i just want to know what could be the biggest advantage as a non native speaker in advertising industry? 

I am a advertising management senior and graduating at December. I will be working for a digital advertising start-up after graduation and still debating look for another position at big agency. Well, some professionals in the same industry with many years experience don't recommend me to work for a big corporation but that's what most advertising students want to get inside. What's your recommendation?

My big question is is school really worth my time? I spend so much time and effort, money on school but is it really worth my time when i finsh? I hope it is beacuse I want to be succesful. I want to know all my hard work pay off.

I've recently been offered a position with a large company. I have been offered a salary that I am comforatble with. Should I still negotiate? Does it reflect poorly if I choose not to negotiate for a higher offer?

I understand that when you're going into a job in the engineering field, or something similar, GPA really matters when it comes to getting hired.  When applying for a job in marketing or something not as academically based, how necessary is it to put your GPA on your resume?
