In my presentation, I decided to focus primarily on the Reebok ZigTech shoe.  This shoe helped Reebok to change it's boring brand image and reinstate their name in the athletic shoe industry.  I feel that in order to have this brand image remain, they must revamp their social media presence.  In this presentation, I explain how the Reebok ZigTech may benefit greatly if they choose you use resources such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc.

I start out by describing the current state of Reebok ZigTech.  I begin by explaining that the ZigTech differentiated itself from almost every shoe out there and Reebok really needs to exploit this in their advertising.  I also explain that the ZigTech is targeted primarily to younger people who are interested in athletics.  Many pro athletes endorse this product, including the likes of OchoCinco.  They are definitely targeting a younger crowd with these kinds of endorsers.

Throughout the presentation, I talk about the current state of some of the socia media resources and explain how they could better utilize.  One of the most important resources I feel Reebok should take advantage of is YouTube.  It would be very beneficial to have a "Create Your Own ZigTech Ad" or "How Do You Zig" contest.  Engagement is the key, and this will allow consumers to be actively engaged.  I also feel a blog, Facebook account, and Twitter account are all highly necessary to the success of the ZigTech brand.  Constant updates and interweaving of these tools is absolutely necessary.  Whenever the blog is updated, have it posted to Twitter and Facebook.  To keep engagement up, you need to have constant fresh content for the consumer.

In the end, it is important to track the success of the social media campaign.  A tool such as Google Analytics would be very beneficial to track this.  You can see how traffic of webpages increases/decreases and how long people stay engaged in this webpage.

Overall, the PowerPoint does a good job explaining my ideas that Reebok ZigTech should incorporate into their social media campaign.  I believe this would be an excellent route for them and their brand to go in order to encourage active engagement amongst their target audience.
