         I will target the video streaming service website for advertising the BestBuy. It is mainly because people who use online streaming service are the younger population who will have more interests in the technological products. For example, Hulu and Netflix will be two efficient websites to display as they cover various of shows, which can attracts all kind of the audiences. BestBuy should promote the technological products such as the laptops, computers and phones on these website, while linking them to the product pages or the BestBuy official sites. It will also be a great chance to promote Best Buy’s brand awareness.

Search Engine Marketing

         I would set the budget as 1.67 million per month and focusing on buying the keywords and phrases, such as best buy tv, best buy gift card, laptops best buy, best buy phone. These keywords are basically related to the technology which can show that BestBuy is a company that focuses on selling the technological products when comparing to the other competitors. Cnet.com and Walmart.com are two most strongest competitors to BestBuy, therefore BestBuy needs to buy many exclusive keywords to be stand out among all the competitors. The headline should clearly show the name of the products that the person is searching, while providing the person with official website so that they can click and visit. Then the customer rating should also be displayed to show that there is a high customer satisfaction. The landing page should have a big photo with IPhone XS Max to guide people. On the photo, exclusive deals, special characteristics and call-to-action button(such as preorder or buy now) can also be written, which can stimulate buying behavior.

Facebook

         Facebook will be mainly used to promote the brand awareness and the awareness of the special products as it has the most widest population users. It will be really efficient when BestBuy wants to attract new blood from such a big and diverse pool. Since people on the Facebook are relatively younger, they can use Facebook to stimulate people to download their apps. Moreover, the Facebook will be an efficient platform to register for an event. As people will only need to click on one button, BestBuy can measure how many people are interested or willing to attend their events.

Twitter

         People on Twitter are relatively older than the ones in other social platforms. People in this ages are more used to emails. In this case, BestBuy should use direct conversions as a strategy on the twitter, which can effectively captures people’s emails through clicking on the advertisements. Besides, one click to follow the official account will also be useful as people on twitter are trying to obtain as much as information as they can. Therefore, they will be loved to follow BestBuy.

YouTube

         YouTube, the biggest video streaming service in the United States, has a huge variety of audiences. I suggest BestBuy shoot specific product’s promotion video and display the ads before the video plays. This will largely increase the exposure of the products and the BestBuy brand awareness. Moreover, by clicking on to the ads played, the audience will be directly linked to the buying sites or the official sites. The promo videos are not suggested as no one will deliberately clicked on a promotional video and ads to watch.

Instagram & Pinterest

         BestBuy can use Instagram to do the precise targeting. BestBuy can research those who follows technological accounts, and offered sponsored photos and videos specifically into these people’s accounts. However, it doesn’t work that much when compared to the Facebook and twitter. Thus, it is definitely the one that I am highly recommended.

LinkedIn

         Linkedlin has people who has the highest age than any other social platforms, while most of them are the professionals in various fields. Therefore, the LinkedIn is also not a compatible platform for BestBuy to promote itself.
