Optimizing my Snowboarding Blog

To optimize my blog, I first created a Google Analytics account. I liked this up with my WordPress blog. I also created a Squidoo account. At first, I had no idea how Squidoo worked. After messing around with the site for a while, I felt confident enough to create a lens. I made a lens about the top 5 women's snowboards of 2013 that I would most like to try out. I made sure that my title was optimized by using the phrase "women's snowboards" and the year 2013 for people searching for the most curren gear. In my introduction I also repeated my title keywords in singular and plural forms. I then made a link box to include a link back to my wordpress blog and sugested anyone interested in snowboarding should check it out. Below that, I started my list. For each board in my list, I made a seperate text box listing why I was interested in the board and included a photo of the board. I made sure to use commonly searched terms in the snowboarding world. Below that I included a link to each snowboard on their respective brand website pages for further research and purchasing information. I also included a poll asking readers to choose which snowboard they thought was the best pick. There was also a guestbook I left up, which allows readers to leave comments. This isn't part of SEO for my blog, but I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone would leave a comment. I made a post on my WordPress blog linking to the Squidoo lens I created also.
