Blog doesn't die, it still keeps possibility.

I have had my blog for 5 years until I went to Army service in my country. I had met some friends from the blog and communicate with them. It was little pleasure to meet new friends who have same interesting.

However after I’ve finished the service, people joined in FaceBook or Twitter page with mobile devices. Of course, I’m on social media services. It is easier and comfortable with smart phone. So, I don’t use blog anymore. People keep visiting my blog, but I post once a month.

I think this is a usual pattern that blog users have. The reading is talking about it. “Young people, who are using social networks such as Facebook instead” (Ingram, 2011) Young people like to be fast and comfortable.

In recent, I start to do blogging again, because I have found some of problems in Facebook and want to meet new people who are similar with me. Facebook is good for networking people who are used to know. But that’s it. It doesn’t mean we have same interesting, if we go to same school. Also, social media have privacy issues. Of course, blog has it too, so it means I want to have something that is not shared with friends in real life.

So I’m doing blogging again and have interests in Tumblr platform, which is commented on the reading post. The blog services are available to provide deep, long and broad posting that I want to talk. I also can share long post in Facebook, but my friends don’t like it. I think it is the character that my ages have.

I totally agreed with the reading post. The blog service is declining, but it doesn’t mean they’ve died. Blog services have certain characters and positive side that social media can’t provide.
