Spring Essential Contest

Pinterest gives the public an amazing opportunity to showcase their interests, hobbies, styles, and likes. It’s a unique form of social media because you’re not necessarily posting about emotions or self-involved activities. Instead the website allows every individual to express their own attitudes.

With that said, I entered into a Pinterest contest. I chose the Spring Essentials Contest, a fashion company. This company asked its participants to create a unique board for the possibility of winning a $250.00 cash prize. There were a few strategic steps in order to enter:

       ·      Sign into your Pinterest account and follow @PLNDR

·      Create a new boards called “Spring Essentials & PLNDR”

·      Start your board by pinning one photo from the PLNDR Spring Essentials board, along with the hashtag #PLNDR

·      Complete your board by adding other images that show us your style—and your spring essentials

·      When you’re finished, submit your mood board URL at blog@PLNDR.com

Once I signed into my account, I followed each step necessary. I then went through my favorite brands such as, Free People, Steve Madden, Nasty Gal, and Lulu’s, and then picked out some of my favorite styles to showcase on my board. The Spring Essential board I created includes jewelry, shoes, outfits, and nail styles.

The Final Board

The final product looked amazing. I was incredibly content with the way everything was pieced together by the end. In all honesty this assignment made me just want to go shopping. Other than that I had a great time constructing this assignment.
