Detroit Lions Company Campaign

The Detroit Lions 2013 season is rapidly approaching and to generate money and reach our goals for this season we have to formulate a good campaign or plan of attack.  I have a feeling that this year is going to be a special one not only for the Detroit Lions but the fans of Detroit as well.  We have the pieces to the puzzle, for example young talented players mixed with the experienced veterans to help lead the team, now we just have to put the pieces together.  There is a lot of hype and anticipation surrounding this year’s Lions, which in turns makes our job a little easier.  We’re going to start this campaign off by selecting a target audience we want focus on to help maximize our ticket sales and profit.  I believe we should focus our ad campaign towards families and specialized group ticket packages.  These are the people that make up the majority of our audience at home games and I believe that if we focus our efforts on these two areas it will increase our ticket sales.

 

Campaign Goals for the 2013 Season

Having goals is important to any campaign because it gives you something to strive for and criteria to meat.  Here are our goals for this up coming year.

  • Increase ticket sales and try to sell out every game this year.
  • Sell the Lions; make the fans want to pay to come watch the games.
  • Increase page views about the Lions.
  • Make the public more aware of the Lions.
  • Make them aware of the ticket packages and ticket deals.
  • Create lifetime customers; make them want to come back.
  • Influence people to come to the games that may be on the border.
  • Sell that coming to the games is more fun than sitting on the couch.

 

Campaign Keywords and Budget plans

The keywords I would focus on are Detroit Lions, schedule, NFL, Tickets, and football.  These keywords would definitely help in driving our ticket sales.  As far as the budget goes we are willing to spend 20 dollars for our daily budget.  Also the maximum we are willing to spend per click on our ad is 25cents.  With this we would expect to generate a good amount of traffic because it will be the first thing people see when they type in out keywords.
