Pinning Inspiration for Contests on Pinterest!

I started my Pinterest journey by revisiting my own Pinterest account. I sometimes use it so I know the in's and out's of the site. I logged in and chose a contest that was appealing to me. I chose the Outrage Fashion contest. The first thing I had to do was re-pin the contest pin onto my existing board. You can find all of my boards here. I then followed Outrage Fashion and all of their boards. Next, I made a public Pinterest board entitled "Outrage Fashion Pinterest Contest". The final step was to have fun and start pinning. For this particular board, you have to pick a color-blue, green, red, white etc.- and pin some of Outrage Fashion's jewels and accessories in that certain color along with some other cool fashion ideas that highlight this color. Essentially, they are looking for a color inspiration board. I decided to do a silver based board. I had a blast with this because I love Tumblr and I often find most of my fashion inspirations and ideas from all of the people I follow. Therefore, I went on Tumblr and searched for tags such as Silver Dresses, Silver Rings, Silver Jackets and Silver Shoes. I found some great ideas and things which I was able to upload onto Pinterest and pin to my board. Because the contest rules make you pin Outrage Fashion accessories of your color, I was able to find some great accessories that I would actually buy by going to their website. I am having fun pinning different posts that actually have to be silver. It's entertaining and challenging to mix and match styles, shades and accessories. Overall, I think Pinterest is a great way for small businesses to show off their creativity and products by not only pinning your products, but pinning what inspires them.
