Making A Name for Myself

It’s ironic, because while updating my blog the last couple of weeks, I feel like I’ve been using the same 5-10 words in most of my posts. Never did I think there was significance to it, until I started this lesson on Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Here are the five keywords I have chosen to be associated with my blog and myself. They are:

• Fashion
• Style
• NCAA Basketball
• Michigan State Spartans
• Public Relations Student

I have written several blogs that discuss fashion, sports and both. I use the keywords in my posts and I also add tags with these topics as well. When I update my Google+ and Facebook pages I make sure to use these words in the titles.

I also installed Google Analytics to track my page views and currently I have 117 pageviews, which surprisingly impresses me!

Can’t wait to watch the numbers rise.
