Blogging for Spartan Spirit

I’ve been looking to start a more themed and structured blog for quite some time, so I was excited to find out that creating a blog was this week’s homework assignment. It gave me the push I needed to actually create one. I struggled for a while debating on a platform and a theme. Since I am already familiar with Tumblr, I decided to stick with that platform. I am really passionate about Michigan State and I love to talk about my school to anyone who will listen. So it seemed to be a good choice to create a blog focused on everything regarding Michigan State, and being a student here.

My blog is called College Life Through Spartan Eyes. I started it a little over a week ago so I’ve had time to make some posts and share some pictures. I think this was an awesome assignment and I am planning to keep up with my blog. Even though I just started, I think eventually I will get even better at blogging, and it will enhance my writing and organizational skills. I think it's also a great skill to have since it shows creativity and personalization. I have also started a Wordpress blog that showcases charities and non-profit organizations, along with other acts of kindness in the world. It is still in the works but I hope to share it once I clean it up.
