So it's your first week of the New Media Drivers License. This class is a great opportunity to learn a massive amount about new media marketing. How much you learn will be determined by the effort you put in.
Weekly blog posts are one of the ways you can get even more out of this class. Each week we will answer questions you have regarding this weeks subject matter. This isn't a place to ask questions about the assignment, rather questions you have about the topic in general.
So this week you're doing an audit of your brands digital presence. You're also learning about why digital is so important.

Nowadays, digital marketing is changing so fast. Is it following up is better? or should take time to step forward?
What is the best way to advertise for small business that doesnt have much of a budget to spend? I realize social media is free but the target market of this business is an older demographic that isnt very big in social media?
After researching my brand’s online presence and digital marketing strategies I noticed that the posts on their social media accounts were very similar and their advertisements on their website were completely different. Is this normal for businesses? Would this help or hurt businesses? Also, on my brand’s landing page (Chevy) they have a sliding header featuring new deals they’re offering and feature stories associated with the brand. How often should businesses change/update these pictures/feature stories?
This week I read AAron Agius's artical "4 Essential To Build Your Brand On Social Media." According to this article one important thing is to provide valuable and shareable content. After reading his the principle he provides, I understood more about how to get people share the content. I just want to know if there's any famous vivid example of "shareable content." Like any famous brand did great in this aspect.
I understanding how digital marketing and online community is the key to the business. However, the trends of social media tend to change quick. Is there any way to make more accurate and faster prediction that which social media is on the rise or down hill?
From this week reading, in the digital world there are lots of potential customers and what do you recommend to get better affordable?
As stated in Aaron Agius's article, The 4 Essentials to Building your Brand on Social Media, contests are a good way for a brand to increase visibility and leads. Is it better to have contests which require participant competetion or contests with random winners.
I noticed with my brand that it's audience are young kids and teenagers. Digital marketing is important for my brand because the target audeince are heavy users of social media. My question for you is how are brands using digital media to target older audeinces that are not tech savy? Although this question will probably not be relevant in the next decade as Millennials raised on technology will soon be adults it is interesting to me that right now there are still older adults that don't use social media as much and still can fall into a brands target audience.

In the reading this week we learned about Buying Personas. While there was mention of a chapter that will go more in depth, what would you say is the best way to get to know potential customers, when you're an entrepreneur? In marketing we learn about surveys, and focus groups but many start-ups don't have funding for that. What's a more affordable option for getting to know potential customers well enough to create a persona for that group

In the digital world, I know that the issue of personalized ads to someones social media through web tracking is becoming a big topic of conversation. I'm just curious if there will eventually be regulations put on what advertisers can and cannot track, and if so, how will this effect how advertisers reach their intended audience on social media?
1. Is there a specific digital marketing strategy that has been proven effective in your expereince over the others? 2. How do you think digital marketing will change as we continue to devolp our technology? Will it eventually be replaced by something bigger and better?
In class we talked about the most popular networks for adults being Facebook, Pintrest, Instagram, etc. Why do you think that Google+ wasn't as successful as these social media platforms? What do you think they could have done to have been more successful launching Google+?
We've talked a lot about how brands should start transitioning (or really already be transitioned) to social media, but I'm wondering if they could go too far? For example, my brand has a Snapchat account, and 1) I haven't seen any content on it already, 2) I don't know how they can format their content for the Snapchat format. Can brands overreach on social media? Is it better to be really good on limited social medias rather than okay on every social media?

Many people are being used many social network system and other media which is related with web. However, most users are just using social network system. Actually, they didn’t know well how to handle it. This class will deal with new media marketing. I hope to learn more specific parts of new media marketing and social network system from this class.
After I finished the first research of the brand Walmart. There is the key message on the brand official website:"Walmart are saving money, making purchase more convenient and improve audiences’ life quality." My question is: Many brands do not have their key message on the website. Is there have any negative effect for the brand?

Hello for our brands facebook and pinterest page is it good to post the same captions and pictures since its ultimaltey the same brand or should there be different types of pictures and information for each page. ?
