Comments & Feedback
Even though i wasnt chosen as a winner, I had a great time participating in this competition. I increased my Klout score drastically, and became involved in social media far more than I ever expected myself to. I am now a frequent user on twitter and instagram, apps that I had no previous experience with before this contest encouraged me to explore a little further into my social media options. Huge congrats to all the winners, and I hope the lunch on Friday was one to remember. That had to be a pretty special experience with a company that is the leading innovator in today's world.
A big congratulations to the Klout winners! I am so jealous I didnt participate. It would have been interesting to see my klout score. Visiting Google would be such a cool experience. I am so jealous of all of you! I would love to know how it goes. Again, congratulations! Have fun!
Congratulation all winners. I am very jealous about that! Since, this is very rare opportuninty so go tour as much as you want! This gonna be very good experience for all of you.
Congratulations to the winners of the Klout competition! This inspired me to continue to monitor my Klout score and hopefully see an increase in its score. Klout is a great way to measure success of one's presence in social media. I thought I would have had a much higher score, but that just goes to show that you can always do more. I will continue to push myself with my digital presence in today's world. It is becoming ever so important to stay current and I think Klout is a great tool to push yourself. I hope the winners had a great time at Google!
Wow! Looking back I wish I would have entered or remembered about the competition but that's awesome people got these scores from what they've learned in this course! Hopefully everyone had fun at Google!
Congrats to the winners of the Klout competition! I think this was a great way for students to utilize new technology and emphasize our social media use. I think we are often unaware of how much of an impact we can make, and this really gave us a chance to see our potential.
Wow! I'm sure the 5 of you had a blast at Google. @PaulCleaveland and I have become good friends through another class and he told me all about it. It sounded amazing! I definitely wish I would have submitted my first score before the deadline; unfortunately my score was still calculating. Lunch at Google was a missed oppertunity I hope to experience someday soon.
Congratulations Winners! you might visit Google in Ann Arbor!
have fun!
Congrats to all of the other winners! I was fortunate enough to have the greatest increase in Klout score over the duration of the semester. I am so glad I this NMDL course introduced me to Klout in general. There are so many people that I talked to who have never heard of Klout. I even found a post on twitter in which an account user had capitalized on his and got a free Fossil watch?! I have emailed KloutPerks as well and am eagerly waiting an reply.
Thanks to my increased Klout score I had the opportunity to hang out and have lunch at Google Ann Arbor. It was an amazing experience! Personally I had never looked in to positions at Google– mostly because I didn't think that I was smart enough. But after the A2 visit, I found that there are many opportunities within the company.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity because of NMDL :)
Congratulations to the winners! I have toured Google in Ann Arbor before and it was a really great experience. I loved seeing how open and creative the building was- which helps with employee creativity. I just wish I would have had more time to really develop my social media accounts to get a better Klout score. I do wonder if I should include things like my Klout score and social media accounts when I am applying for jobs though. Especially since they are for personal not professional use most of the time. Because my personal Klout score would be higher than my professional. Something to think about I guess. Congrates again!
I think this Klout competition was a great way to tie in the course content to something fun. I think Klout is very interesting. An average score of 52 is impressive and the winners should be very happy! A trip to Google AA would be awesome! Hope everyone learned a lot and had fun.
Congratulations to all the winners! I'm glad that I've had the opportunity to learn to use Klout in this class. Experiencing Klout has been a fun process and it was fun to see my score grew in correspondence with my activities on different social media websites. Klout is a good way to measure influence and I would like to see where the site goes in the future.
Congratulations to all the Klout Winners. Although, I did not participate in this competition I feel this is a great opportunity for the people that did. I’m more aware of the impact social media has today especially for businesses trying to increase awareness and build their reputation via the Internet.
Congratulation to all of the Klout winners. Most importantly congrats on going to Google. This is an awesome opportunity so take full advantage of it. I am looking forward to increase my Klout score. I am more aware how social media is important to Internet marketing and ways to increase awareness.
Congratulations to the winners of lunch at Google! It seems like everyone worked hard at their Klout all semester, but overall Klout scores of 62 and a Klout increase of 43 are quite the amazing feat. The winners definitely deserved that lunch! And I’m hoping it was nothing short of delicious.
I’ve always heard that working for Google has great perks! It is hard to believe that a company that has been in existence for such a short time in the grand scheme of things is able to treat their employees so well. A look at some of the features in Google offices around the world makes me a bit envious that I’m not going to spend my life working in such an office. They hardly seem like work spaces! I wonder how the Google offices in Ann Arbor compare to some of these spectacular pictures. Personally, I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of the Google Nap Pods, which are supposedly designed for optimum re-energizing in a minimum amount of time. Naps are encouraged! Although, I think the Nap Pod would have a hard time waking me up with just a combination of light and vibration!
In the beginning of this semester, that was my first time to heard about Klout, and I found that was awesome, it's really useful for us to manage our accout with some business work.
At the beginning of the semester I did not know enough about Klout to get involved with this. Even though the competition is over, exploring Klout has been a fun process. If this opportunity is offered again next semester, I will certainly recommend that students participate. I am from Ann Arbor and although I have not toured the Google building first hand, I know that it is an exciting place. I think I can speak everyone in saying that a position at Google would be a dream, especially for students in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences. Congratulations to all of the Klout competition winners!
For a brief period before I took this class, I often checked my Klout. It was cool to see how your score grew and every outlet you could take advantage of to increase it. However I soon stopped checking it regualrly and by the time I would remember I had an account my "perks" would be expired. I do think the concept is interesting though! I'm just not sure how successful it will be in the long run.
I just do not think I new enough about Klout to actually get interested in it. At first I was interested because I love competition, however, only having this class twice in person really made me forget to boost my score. Congratulations though to the winners! I think I could have done a better job at this and if I can another similar task in the future I think i would be more prepared and have a general foundation of knowledge to expand from. Hope the Google tour was exciting as I imagined it to be! Best of luck those who won!
Congratulations to the winners of the Klout competition! It was so much fun having a little competitive spirit going on in this class. I can't believe how high the highest Klout score was and how big of a Klout increase there was great! Great job @emilyprog, @RachelJoCounteg and @SamanthaMazzola! I'm sure the tour of the Google Ann Arbor office was a great time, I'd love to check out a Google office one day. Even though the competition is officially over, I haven't stopped trying to raise my Klout score.
Congratulations to the winners! What a once in a lifetime opportunity! I hope those who went enjoyed being able to go and talk with Google.
Winning a lunch with Google sounds like an unreal experience and I am sure it was for the winners of the Klout challenge. I wish I could've increased my score more so I would have had a shot to win.
I think a chance to have lunch at Google would have been a once in a lifetime experience. This competition was very fun throughout the semester. Congrats to the winners!
Since I have already commented on every blog post already I will give my opinion of the Klout contest
When I first heard that the winners of the contest would get to test run google glass I was completely surprised. Google has become somewhat of an all-powerful company and a chance to see one of its newer technologies in action is a great opportunity.
This was such a great opportunity for students in this course! I have never been in a class where something like this was offered. I am sure the winners took full advantage of the experience. I think this was a great way to intertwine something so prominent in the course with a opportunity that could come from such platforms. I struggled constantly increasing my Klout score but it did help me see what my social media platforms can achieve.
Since I commented on the wrong blog post last week, I hope this one counts towards my participation!
Congrats to the winners of the Klout contest. I am not surprised to see that 52 is the average score since I was just slightly below this with a score of 48. I hope the winners had fun on their Google adventure and were able to take away a lot from such a great experience.
I would like to offer my congratulations to the winners of this competition. You all won a great prize that holds tremendous opportunity. I hope the tour was fun and the lunch was perfect. Google seems like an interesting place to see, as well as work. Cheers to you all!
Congratulations to the winners! I hope that the lunch went well for everyone and you had a good networking opportunity. Although I did not win, I enjoyed learning about the Klout service and will be sure to teach my fellow social media marketers about the site. Klout is a great way to measure influence and I am excited to see where the site goes from here, as well as how it will continue to generate revenue.
Congrats to all the winners~~I hope they have fun to going to Ann Arbor and enjoyed prize. When I apply for the Klout score, I am interested in this and that is useful. I will introduce Klout to my friends and family.
Congratulations to the winners again.
Congratulations to all the winners! I have 32 or something alike. Possibly because I forgot to use Klout most of the time.
I just check out few times. Anyway, hopefully the tour went well.
Still can't believe I won the competition and loved the tour at Google! Congrats to the other winners as well and hope you enjoyed the Google experience as much as I did. Google is so inspiring and enjoyed every minute of the tour. Luckily to have an awesome class that gave us this great opportunity, thank you!
Congrats to the winners! I will definitley have to look into this and try this next time!
Congratulations to all the winners!! Hopefully the tour went well. I will definitely have to look into my own Klout score, and now I am more interested in it. It is something that could help me going forward. It would be cool to know how the tour went, and what the winners thought was the best part if that's at all possible! Congrats guys!
Congratulations to the winners! I hope you enjoyed your prize! I will have to look into Klout in the future because I think it could be very useful.
Congratulations to all the winners! I hope you had a great experience at Google! Could you see yourself working there in the future, despite the fact that it's in Wolverin territory? Keep up the good work on social media!
Ahhh! I wish I would've gotten my dog sooner! Congrats to all the winners-- enjoy the Googleslide!
Congratulations to all the winners, especially @SamanthaMazzola for having the highest clout increase this semester. This was a fun competition and i am envious of the google opportunity. Hope that all the winners have fun and let the rest of the class know how it went when we meet at the end of the semester inclass. Very cool and i definitely think i will introduce Klout to my friends/ family.
Congrats to the winners! I hope you had an amazing time touring the Google offices. Do you think you guys will continue trying to raise your Klout score once this NMDL is done?
Congratulations to all the winners, hope to hear from some of you how the experience was. Visiting Google would've been an incredible opportunity to win.
Can't say I'm not jealous of those winners going to Ann Arbor for their lunch with Google. Congratulations to all the winners and I hope you all enjoy your lunch with Google!
Congratulations to all of the winners! I'm sure the visit to Google will be memorable and I'll keep checking on my Klout score in the future.
Congrats to all the winners, going to Google Ann Arbor sounds so much fun!
I didn't really work on mine Klout Score, becuase I kind of want to go little private on all my social media account, but by checking those winners' work I was very
impressed by. However, still I might not going to do anything with my Klout Score.
Anyway, Congrats to all the winners!!
Congratulations winners! I know Emily Prog worked very hard for this opportunity. How did the lunch go? What did you all get to discuss?
Congratulations to all of the winners! This is such an amazing opportunity and I'd really like it if you could share your experiences with the rest of us. I'm really interested to hear all the cool things about Google in Ann Arbor!
Congratulations to all the winners! You are very fortunate to get a peek into the future of technology at Google. I'd love to hear about your experinece and highs of the tour.
What a great experience! I learned a lot from this tour of Google and I am really glad I got the chance to go!! what a great atmosphere to work in. I really can see how this take at the corporate experince makes Google so successful.
Congratulations to all the winners!
Hope you have a fun time on the visit! I went on a tour through a small part of the office and had lunch there a little while ago because my friend's cousin works there. It seems like it would be a fun place to work!
Congrats again and have fun!
Congratulations to all winners! It is suhc a great opportunity for you to look into such a great company. I hope you will get the opportunity to talk to many of Google's employees to get an insight into their work like at Google (one of the biggest companies in the world). Maybe you will be able to figure out if you also want to work in such a business .. it is a great way to figure future possibilities out (whether you like this or not).
I personally have never heard of 'Klout' before this class. Maybe it is because I am from Germany and it may not be common there to consider it. This is why I could not compete in such great competition, with an even better price at the end.
Hoowever, again congratulations to the winners!
Congratulations to all the winners! I wish I should have taken the incentive of visiting Gogle seriously and participated in the competition. Hope those of you who went to Google tour enjoyed and made some contacts.
