Comments & Feedback
Gary Vaynerchuk shows how versatile marketing can become and is becoming. He contrasts big ideas with practicality. His strategies are very pragmatic, easy to understand, and easy to execute. If more people had the same mentality as him, there would be way more emerging small businesses simply becuase of their ability to dominate the correct social media platforms. Also, his claim that poeple are unsuccessful because they are lazy is accurate and hilarious.
In my opinion, gary's speech is attractive of acceptable key points in his technical field and his awesome experience. As a speaker, he made audiences to keep tracking more knowledge which are helpful to their needs. As a entrepreneur, he can also found an echo among the counterparts who are interacting with during this conference. Except some trategies on marketing, I also like his attitude on how to confront riskes.
This man presented so drama and exciting. I haven't seen this vedio before. I think this man attract me a lot. He is celver. I should learn his presenting skills and it will help me a lot.
Woah this guy is awesome. Edgy, enthusiastic and passionate he's every thing a speaker should be. I found the part about email marketing to be most educational. It was interesting to hear him talk about how this marketing strategy has become less effective throughout his career due simply to people's awareness. Definitely my favorite "Ted talk" type presentation that I have watched at Michigan State.
I had never heard of Gary Vee until this video. I did some research on him soon after watching his talk, and I had no idea that he is one of the most high demand speakers in our time. Everyone wants to know his secrets to building a successful business and keeping it updated.
I like him because of the strong speech. Gary Vee always keeping things into perspective. And I like the section of 2:26 and he says that we are dramatically more in control of our lives. He is true and we need to know who are we and what we want to do. Even though there are some negative comments posted on Youtube, I believe that he is trying to deliver positive information.
Even though I watched the video twice, I was still impressed by his speech. He teaches me a lot about how to run the business efficiently and how to use social media to make a profit. Every single word he says is to get attention to let the audience to follow his steps. But I don't like he always uses the word "fucking".
I like this video, he used the special way to intreduce the inbound market. I think I most undersdant with inbound when I finish watch that video. I think that is a special way to make seller most close with the consumer
I think Gary Vaynerchuk is really interesting. He describes the inbound marketing and online marketing by using his own way which makes the lecture more attract people. The ways to attract people's attention is also one of the important points he said in the lecture. If an ad cannot attract many audiences, then it might become a fail ad.
Gary was so passionate in his talk, which shows he cares about this business. He highlights an interesting point, that the FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, are our 4 major networks. Comparing the social media channels to TV networks, ESPN. NBC, ABC, and MTV. Our world is becoming more social, and how we use social media to drive marketing campaigns. Gary states that inbound marketing, we aren't going to need to hire the agency to do our work because we can do it oursleves through research . Gary isn't afraid to take risks and build a pre-existing brand into something great, through inbound marketing.
This is exactly what I figured Gary V. would say. This is a good thing as I am currently working with SEO and Social Media merketing techniques for my job back home. Watching this video gave me a new perspective on inbound marketing techniques and how I could apply those to my job currently. This is a huge thing for me as SEO is one of the most crucial things for inbound maketing. Gary V. does a good job of connecting social media with SEO and how they both kind of play off each other. His way of simplifying things and providing examples that actually makes sense is a good reason why watching his videos in the future might be a good idea!
This video is so amazing and I did not know that person before but now I am impressed. Before this video I am consused about inbounned marketing just by doing the assessment and readings but after I watch this video I think I am a little bit better that this topic. I hope you always can post this kind of video to help us to understand the topic.
I enjoy watching this video because Gary's way to talk about inbound marketing is not boring at all. I think this is also a reason why he has become to a successful entrepreneur. Anyway, his speach is like a new lesson on inbound marketing for me besides what we have learned from the class. I have learned more interesting stuff from his speach including the connection between social media, search engine optimization and content marketing. If I was going to be an entrepreneur in the future, I would choose to use the method of inbound marketing for my business.
I enjoyed watching this video because of the way Gary connects with the audience and videos. I leanred different terms about inbound marketing that I robabky would not have paid attention to until this video, and also from the examples he provided from his own business experience. I fully agre with his bulk email portion of his segment because so many brands send out excessive emails, including the brand I have for this class.
His speech is very eye-opening. Inbound marketing is certainly an important strategy for advertising, especially online advertising. Get your business to attract more customers by using your business itself is a new way to think about advertsing your brand.
I think there are some solid insights and lessons here. I enjoyed listening to this and am sure I'll use some this marketing technique in the real world.
I think this was a great video! I had never heard of him before but I am definitely looking forward to hearing more of what he has to say (even though it was pretty long). There was a part of what he said that reminded me of a something I read on a book, which said: "You must first be who you really are, do what you need to do, in order to have how you want." I think it is a great point of view seeing it as not just how much money but how it is made. He has a great energy and communication skills, which definitely makes the viewers want to learn more.
I enjoyed watching this video. It helped me better understand and grasp the inbound marketing concept. Advertising terms and strategies can get confusing, and Gary made it easier to comprehend. This type of advertising is unique, but it can develop strong consumer relationships if executed well.
Compare to last video this is good video. He talks about all sorts of information and stayed on topic as last week video. I think idea of Facebook advertising is good opportunity for business people.
Still a great video in my opinion. He explains inbound marketing in a very unqiue way that gave me a better understanding of what it means. I enoyed learning how this technique is used to draw consumers in. Whether it's through content marketing, social media, and/or search engine optimization, he gave us great examples and a greater knowledge on how it's used. Overall, I enjoyed watching this video and looking forward to learning more about it in the near future.
He really focuses on the 'Connecting with your audience' part. And throughout his TED talk he does that himself pretty well too.
I liked the bit where he talks about spam emails and makes everyone take a pledge that they won't send it to their audience. We can take away a very important lesson from it. Its about respecting your relationship with your client and making sure that you autenticity as a brand is maintained. I've worked at a job where we cold-called people about a product and that ended up dropping the sales for it nationally in the long run because people don't respect when something is being forcefully sold to them, but rather appreciate it when you welcome them to buy from you.
Loved the whole talk.
This video helped me to further understand Inbound marketing. I really like the concept of inbound marketing. I like all the aspects of it and the connection of social media, content marketing, and SEO. This type of marketing allows companies to get a unique pull on consumers. It allows marketers to get close to customers and give them a way to connect with them.

Wow. I really enjoyed this TED talk. It was extremely easy to follow and did not get boring. I wish I watched this before the inbound marketing assignment because it gave me more insight into the topic. Although, I am glad that I watched it when I did because it tied all the elements together for me, giving me a better understanding of the topic.
The way he presents new information is a bit unorthodox, but I think he gets his points across well. I always enjoy a good TED talk and I definitely think that what he talked about will help with next week's assignment.
Gary really captured the idea of inbound marketing and how it is important to understand it. The way that he portrays his message is something that really helped me understand the points he was making. I think they way that the industry is leaning inbound marketing is essential for creating any kind of connection with customers. there is so much data and information out there that you need to make yours stand out.
After doing last week's assignment and watching this video, I think Digital Marketing is a very cool thing to learn. I also enjoy watching TED videos. They are always very informational and interesting to see people talk about their experiences. As this class comes to an end I am looking forward to learning more about Digital Marketing.
Inbound marketing is the new wave of marketing which has shown to be successful. I enjoyed Gary's speech a lot because of how blunt and carefree he is when talking but he also wants to help other businesses be successful and be financially smart about their marketing. Doing surveys with the crowd by having them raise their hands to things they can relate to makes it realistic for the audience and for them to understand what changes they need to make in marketing. I loved how he explains how he took risks on certain things and some paid off but he also took losses but learned from his mistakes and progressed from it.
I like this Gary Vaynerchuk's talking style. I have seening him few time on social media. I really like and enjoy the way he used in his speech. from this video I start understanding what is inbound marketing, because I have no idea what is it before I watch this video.
Speeches are usually boring but Gary Vaynerchuk does great job on catching the audience’s attention. I just know him recently and enjoy his speech a lot. This video shows his humor which makes me feel relaxed and interested in his words. Long speech can make audience feel bored, but Gary speaks as a friend who considers the audience’s thoughts. He uses specific examples which happen around us to demonstrate his topic. The most impressive of his speech is his powerful words and tone. Sometimes he asks questions to make the audience think and keep following him. That’s what I feel of this video and the I’ll keep following him on social media platforms.
I have been seeing this guy pop up on all my social media sites. I hadn't watched anything of his until now but I really enjoy the way he presents. I will have to continue my research on him but seems to be a very inteligent person with a lot to learn from.
I like him! Grey Vee's speech was the most impressive one I ever seen. I like his viewpoint, when he talks about how people really need to get over their hate of social media, I strongly agree with him. Followed with the technology's development we will abandon obsolete advertising.
I saw him a few times on Instagram, I know this guy for a long time. But this is my frist time watching his speech. I don’t like Gary Vaynerchuk’s speech style, I felt his passion, but he used too many f-words. I’m agree that he differentiated sales and branding.
I've actually seen this video along with Gary Vaynerchuk's Ted Talk. It's hard to forget his voice and energy. I enjoyed watching him speak. You can tell how passionate he is about what he does. His energy and the way he talks makes me excited to be going into this field. Someone who commented used hype to describe him and I think it is really fitting. Someone in an unrelated industry could probably watch this video and be inspired to change their career path. I agree with what he says about taking risk. Successful people take risks!
First of all, I think that most public speakers should have this much energy and audience engagement. I thought it was a bit extreme at first but he kept me fully interested until the end. Gary makes some valid points and provides a couple of insights that I wouldn't have thought about otherwise. There are several horrible things happening in our country lately, almost too many to keep track of. Yet, there are also things that we do not take full advantage of or appreciate. He made that very clear to me and I think it is something that we should all take into consideration. He also does a great job at explaining inbound marketing and he explained things that google could not fully clarify.
When I heard a word “inbound marketing” for the first time, it sound hard because i had no idea what that ward was. However, Gary Vaynerchuk talked about it in interesting way and easier way.
Still a great video. The information he said in this video was extremely though provoking and has stayed with me since last week. I think his ideas are really great, such as Facebook advertising. I htink Facebook advertising is a great oppertunity for businesses and they should take better advantage of it.
I might have to say the guy is so hyping, although he is very hear-stirring, his tone, his language and gestures he uses are quite overwhelming. regardless what he says, I feel like the energy he brings to me is peerless, his enthusiasm on inbound market impressed me, his speech pushes my curiosity of learning more about inbound marketing.
After watching Gary Vaynerchuk's video I was Shocked about what he said. It's a great video and I learned a lot of things from him.
Gary Vaynerchuck talks about inbound marketing in a very engaging, interesting way. I particularly enjoyed the way he talked about the importance of branding and the way that marketeres ruin everything. He made a very good point in mentioning that it wasn't necessarily the banner ads from Nike that led him to the store to buy his tennis shoes, but rather the brand. Focusing on what the consumer wants and looks for and how a brand can exemplify those things is arguably more important than how many ads I can put on their social media, and that is important to note.
As for marketeres ruining things, this is a concept I hadn't thought of. We use and overuse technology until methods are no longer effective for marketing and we are forced to change. This allows me to realize how adaptable we have to be in this industry and how ready we have to be to change our marketing methods as technology changes. All in all, I greatly enjoyed Gary's enthusiasm and the message he taught.
This is my first time watching Gary Vaynerchuk. He surprised me with the type of energy he brings to the table the type of passion he brings. Aside from what the video is about, I feel as it he represents what it takes to become successful in a career. He goes out there and takes risks on things he things will be great. and win or lose he backs him self up. He has a real motivation for what he does and thats a inspiring qaulity to me.
I'd never seen this before nor heard of Gary, so this video was super informative for me. I love the energy he brings to the topic! He had me engaged immediately and excited to learn about what he had to say. I think he also made some great points; his argument for utilizing digital advertising is so complete, it's impossible to argue against.
This is my first time ever watching a Gary Vee speech. There is no doubt that he is a very high energy speaker and he does a very good job of calling people out on refusing to adapt. I particularly enjoyed the part where he differentiated sales and branding.
I've actually viewed this video last year in another course. I think Gary brings information about Inbound marketing in a very funny way. From what we've learned from Inbound marketing I think it is very effective way in reaching target audience.
I really like his speaking which he told us inbound marketing through a humorous way. Inbound marketing attracts potential customers through software such as social media, blogs, events, etc. They all target the needs of their customers so that they are better able to attract customers.
It was great chance to me that i could learn about Gray Vee. And according to his speach, I started to think about the future with the media.
This is a very touched and impressive speech. I specifically like his point of living a life that we will not be regreting in the future. I magjored at mechanical engineering for three years of my college life and after all this i decided to transfered my major Film, which is what I really like. I made this choice is because I do not want to live a life that I will regret for sure in the future. I do not want to wake up in a Monday morning and just complain about going to work. If you do not live on the edge of life, then you are taking too much space. Stay positive, work hard and smile to haters.
This was truly impressive. His energy is infectious! And love his bit about immigrant children. Me being from India, i can relate to what he was trying to convey. Coming from nothing and seeing the best and wrost.
Great speech! I enjoy the energy and message Gary shared. His point of living life with no regrets and not leaving anything on the table, is a good one. Especically so in America, where we have the opprotunity to fail and still pick oursevles back up. I agree that the economic climate we live in today should be taken full advantage of. Social media is an awesome and easily avalibale tool to market and advertise any business. I was definately moved by his talk.
I love this guy! I have seen other videos of him and they have always been super relatable to me, and this one is no exception. I happy you posted this video because I haven’t seen this one before. I like how he’s not afraid to speak his mind and tells it how it is. One point that I really agree with, and that I have noticed with my brand as well, is that Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and twitter are the top social media sites. He also brought up many different perspectives on things. As I said, I love this guy. Thank you for posting this video!
