When I saw 21-23, I thought we would lose definitely. But we knocked off them in the final 10 seconds!

On a huge game such as this one, what do you think the best marketing strategies are? Especially since college football may not advertise in ways such as the NFL, do they simply use more social media marketing versus television commercials, etc?
Go green!!
For participation (10/20-10/26):
My brand created an app that flopped and it wasn't really neccessary to begin with. When should brands capitalize on an app and when should they stay away from app building? Because I feel like creating an app that flops could be a detriment to your brand.

Which particular consumer industry (ex. food, car companies, retail stores, etc.) benefits the most from creating a mobile application? Is there one that benefits more than the other?
Do you think local businesses used the Michigan St. vs Michigan game to their advantage in marketing? If so, what social media platforms do you think were utilized the most?
When talking about and researching mobile marketing, what app do you think was most used right after this big game? Between Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

After this unbelievable victory, how will khaki manufacturers reestablish their brand? The celebrity endorsement they used is now seen as a loser, so what will the pants people do to get their brand back on top?

I have heard a lot about marketing automation in digital marketing. How does marketing automation play a role in inbound marketing?
Inbound marketing and relevant content is important to consumers and a great way to market since it doesn't disrupt, it hopefully attracts. But how much is too much? How often should companies be posting blog articles, good content, etc. Is e-mail the best way to distribute this content? Or is this more left for social media
The game was amazing! But its very frustrating how advertising is taking over college football. Games are lasting almost four hours now just for TV and commercial breaks. Go green!
I notice digital marketing becoming more and more necessary for companies to take advantage of because of everything we are learning in this class as well as my digital marketing internship. With this being said, SEO and SEM being a huge part of digital marketing, what is the most important aspect of these things?
For example is it completely necessary to optimize pages and URL's and titles, etc? Or is Paid search a more effective way?
The game is amazing! Go Green!
Although I didn't go to the game, being in Ann Arbor for it was such a blast! It was so fun seeing how upset all of their fans were once the game had ended.
I was at the Motor City Casino with my family watching the game at one of the restaurants they have there. Me and one other State fan decided stand by the tv and watch until the very end. We were certainly glad we did. That game was magical.
Why is it so challenging for companies to create a successful app? It seems like the majority of companies suffer on the mobile platform and I'm wondering why that is.
Also the game was amazing! I wasn't at the game, but I was in Ann Arbor for the game. Least to say Spartan nation went crazy in Ann Arbor after that play. Always proud to be a spartan. GO GREEN!
In todays society, there are many ways for companies to advertise their brand through mobile devices and mobile apps. With that being said, what metrics would be best to look at if a big company came out with a new mobile app? What about a small company?
Is there a basis/shedule that companies use when addressing when to send out emails that are going to effectively enhance sales? In other words, is it about quality or quantitiy of emails more or less?
