As I am putting together my Pintrest Board for my final exam, I've been thining a lot about how companies track profitability of using Pintrest to advertise. How do companies track this, along with how do they track how often their products are viewed on Pintrest? For example, there might be artistic pictures of Hunter Boots on Pintrest that aren't even associated to the company. Even though Hunter Boots isn't paying for this endorsement, how do they track it?

It's crazy how much media influences us. For example, the U of M fan with his hands on his head after the last play...we all know who I'm talking about. Just having him on camera for 3 seconds has made him the icon of U of M for that game. What other examples like this can you think of?
As an avid internet-goer, I know that I personally have gotten really good at ignoring most online ads. When will marketing online become obsolete?
For the digital strategy plan... do you want us to mirror what we portrayed on our Pinterest boards? How do you want us to explain our hypothetical "budget". Also, most brands have a strategy for just about all social media platforms. Do want us to to pick what social media fits best for our brand? i.e. Pinterest and facebook seem like the ideal choice for Starbucks, who thrives of imagery and demonstrations.

Many website home-pages have a link you can click to download that company's app. Why spend money on an app when they could put all the same information on their homepage? It seems to make more sense because the if a customer clicks the link, it means they are already on the website. Seems like an unnecessary step to bring them from your website to your app.

One of my favorite moments in sports history. looking at this over a year later is cool. What is even cooler is see how this is played every where still. The school has even picked up on this and started using it as a marketing tool. During the michigan game this year at half time even tho MSU was losing they played that clip and the whol feeling of the stadium changed. It shows you how the proper timing of things is all that really matters.
